2026 Cohort: States Leading on Energy Affordability
State policymakers are navigating a fast-changing energy landscape where affordability, reliability, resilience, and public investment are increasingly being decided at the state level. As household energy costs rise, the question is not only which policies move forward, but whether they reduce burden for households in practice.
Led by Just Solutions, this space brings together state legislators, policy experts, and practitioners to examine where energy costs are created, approved, and shifted, and how state policy can shape more accountable affordability outcomes.
The cohort builds on our Energy Affordability Policy Library and broader state policy work.

What participants will gain

Connect immediate household needs with clean energy investments, resilience, and long-term system planning. - Strengthen policy approaches
Develop clearer approaches to energy policy that support affordability, accountability, and tangible household impact.
